Today was the first day of the 2010-2011 schoolyear and since I homeschool, it wasn't a matter of picking out a cute outfit, packing lunches and sending them on their merry way.
In fact, today was more of a giant slap of reality in the face. Kids (at least mine. I couldn't say about yours.) don't like switching from "Lotsa playtime" summer to "Sit here and LEARN" school year. BUT reality beckons and we must answer. I think tomorrow will be less of an adjustment, and the day after and the day after and...Here's hoping, anyway!:)
